When I was painting Gilbert, his name kept coming into my mind. I had to look up the spiritual meaning of Gilbert which centers on the concept of being a "shining pledge" or "bright promise". Spiritually, this suggests a soul destined to act as a beacon of reliability and divine commitment! So suiting to this purpose of this art journey my creator has in mind for me....
